Unnamed Feelings

Never had I ever felt envy,

Nor anger, nor sadness 

Until I met you

I felt envy towards those whom

Share moments with you every day.

I’d yet to understand 

Why do I miss someone 

That hasn’t left

And continues to accompany me

In the hardest times. 

Ever since I met you

Feelings became irrational 

My love, unconditional, 

My envy, uncontrollable

I still contemplate. 

In your mere presence

All these negative feelings

Merge with the positive

The emotion is now nonstop

And it feels great.

Day

The day was perfect. 

Sun was setting;

day was ending.

It was our first night

together.

No thoughts were made

It was only us,

The sun, 

The ocean, 

And your beaming eyes.

Wondering Past

History can never be changed,

No matter how hard you try.

History will always unfold,

Whether you approve of it.

But no matter the history,

It is who you are. 

Continue to create your own history,

With the people you love.

Because soon that history,

Will create a better you.
